Will's Grandfather

Joseph William Stockwell Company Commander in the Special Constabulary, a senior officer, rank Inspector. He was attached to Snow Hill Police Station, then to the Guildhall. He was on duty when Princess Marina was married. The medals he wears here are the first WW medals plus the army long service medal.
